PineRidge Timberframe is honored to have been chosen to be prominently featured in the Canadian television series Let's Build, hosted by Dave Kraisosky. Each season of Let's Build focuses on a different topic, with the current season spotlighting building The Ultimate Outdoor Retreat. It is currently airing on CanWest's Global Television Network on Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. EST. PineRidge Timberframe owner Mike Mader appears in most episodes as a consultant while building this PineRidge Timberframe retreat.
Host Dave Kraisosky reviewed many sources when deciding to choose which timber frame company to feature in the series. All of the roads led to PineRidge. "Though not the largest, they had the best reputation in the industry in Canada. In addition, Mike Mader and his entire team share a like-mindedness for the outdoors - a passion that defines who I am."
The show follows the building of the Ultimate Outdoor Retreat, from start to finish. PineRidge was central to designing this getaway, and PineRidge's sister company, Ontario Ridge Builders, was responsible for the frame raising and panels. "PineRidge's commitment to quality, design, and detail sets them apart from other timber frame companies," said Kraisosky. "There are many wannabe timber framers out there but only one PineRidge Timberframe."

From the moment Mike Mader was approached with the idea to be the builder for the show, he was excited to have the chance to share with many the passion and enthusiasm that goes in to each and every single home he builds. "We at PineRidge feel so honored to be included in such a unique opportunity. All of our staff members have taken this chance to really show the creativity and dedication that goes into every aspect of building a timberframe home."
The show also features the many different aspects of the Ultimate Outdoor Retreat, from the interior details of the home, which includes 7 fireplaces, to the wide variety of outdoor activities that can be enjoyed. The home is situated in a location ideal for pursuing outdoor adventure, whether that includes fishing and snowmobiling or just relaxing with a glass of wine and enjoying the scenic view. Who wouldn't love coming home from a hard day at work to their own personal retreat?
The construction of this 5,000 square-foot, timber-frame lodge incorporates the finest elements of environmentally-friendly design. The Forestry Stewardship Council has endorsed all of the wood products and the environmentally friendly roofing system that will be used. LEED-certified quartz countertops from Cambria® will be incorporated into the home and the project has also been endorsed by the World Wildlife Fund Canada - SmartWood.

PineRidge Timberframe designs and builds a wide range of timber frame structures, from small, backyard getaways to the Ultimate Outdoor Retreat. "We at PineRidge take great pride in working with clients to understand their design needs," said Mader. "Our in-house design group of professionals works one-on-one with each homeowner, giving them personalized service. We concentrate on not just designing a home but designing one that works within the parameters of their building lot, within their budget, and provides the most important items on their list of must-have features in a home."
Clips of Let's Build are available to view on the PineRidge website, www.PineRidgeTimberframe.com, which show the process of building the featured home.
